Burlington, VT. – Today the Joan for Mayor campaign announced another historic campaign finance report. Joan’s campaign has raised over $155,000 from over 1,000 contributions and over 700 individual contributors. All three of those numbers are records for the most of any Mayoral race in the history of Vermont.
In addition to the report, Mayoral candidate Joan Shannon said “I am truly blown away by the strong, grassroots support our campaign continues to receive. It means so much to me to be joined in this campaign by so many of my neighbors, friends, and Burlingtonians. Our report shows just how important this election is, to so many people, and speaks to our All Hands on Deck movement. Onward!”
Unfortunately, in the process of uploading both our expenditures and contributions, we experienced technical issues with the Secretary of State’s campaign finance portal. We have been in direct contact with the Secretary of State’s election division and we are working with them to resolve the issue and publish our report as quickly as possible.
